Murals in Toronto
"Passing Glances", Acrylic latex on brick, 27' x 45' / 7.2 m x 14.8 m

The Adelaide and Widmer Streets Mural Project is the first mural painted outdoors by Bill Wrigley . The building, located at 308 Adelaide St. West, was home and studio to the artist from 1984 until 1991. With kind financial support of the late Leon Katz - owner of the building, the artist was able to undertake the project, completing it in three months. On August 12, 1986, the mural was celebrated in an open street party, unveiled to the City of Toronto by Mayor Art Eggleton. The ribbon cutting was witnessed by some 150 guests, curious onlookers and the celebrated individuals depicted in the mural.

The mural remains to this day.
