The
200cid Ford 6 was the standard engine for all intermediate
and compact sized Fords and Mercurys from the early sixties on.
It's design superseded the 170. With seven main bearings, it was
a reliable overall performer with good fuel economy. Highly adaptable,
this powerplant was built to last. In the Mustang, it was even
quite peppy. |
